PODOCARPUS TOTARA

(NZ Native). Evergreen, pyramidal shaped ornamental tree, also useful as a timber tree. Bears small, prickly matt green foliage to the ground when young, gradually becoming bare at the base and exposing clean straight trunk. Approx. height in 10 years 2-3m.
