SOPHORA MICROPHYLLA (KOWHAI)

NZ Native Fine-Leaved Kowhai. Small leguminous tree with attractive fern-like foliage. Tangled juvenile stage leads to a stately adult tree. Flowers profusely from September-November. Nectar attractive to birds. Semi-deciduous. Hardy to cold and wind. Grows approx 4m x 2m.
