Hardy deciduous Maple. Young shoots purple-maroon with a whitish bloom then maturing to deep green. Long flower tassels of bright burgundy in early Spring. Vigorous grower with upright habit. Average, well drained lime free soil. Protect from strong winds. Height 6 - 8 m.
