APPLE MERTON RUSSET

(Malus domestica Merton Russet). Small-medium, oval shaped fruit with yellow flushed dull red, golden russeted skin and crisp, juicy flesh which matures to a rich pineapple flavour if left to mature. Excellent keeper. Quite hardy variety requiring very little attention.
